Silver Creek Stables Jack the Horse

Let your Son or Daughter Experience their dream!
Horse Camps at Silver Creek Stables Riding Center

Spending a 1/2 day at Silver Creek Stables Farm is the closest you can get to spending a day at your grand parents' farm. But for those kids whose grandparents don't live on a farm, they can come experience life on a working horse farm right here at Silver Creek Stables Riding Center in Xenia, Ohio.

We teach your child for a 1/2 day, Monday thru Friday, all the work & care that goes into owning a horse. The cost is $300.00 It's the equivalent of our 2-hour riding lesson, which costs $85/lesson, so it represents $425 worth
of riding lessons.

Your child will receive their own horse for the week. Each morning they will be responsible to clean their own stall, brush groom and tack their own horse. They will learn the safety of being around a horse, how to properly handle their horse and where to position themselves around their horse at all times for safety. I am big on safety!

After tacking up the horse we will go to the indoor arena for a riding lesson. There we will learn to mount and dismount and the proper way to ride and maneuver their horse. If your child has shown an interest in owning a horse, then this is the place to bring them. They will experience the work and the rewards that go into owning your own horse!
